That was the big question when my wife and I embarked on our seven month around the world honeymoon. We decided against blogging to the disappointment of our family and friends. You may ask why? The answer was simple. We did not want to become sidetracked from our ultimate goal; to see the world distraction free. After a stressful year full of significant life decisions, we needed this trip solely for ourselves.
Eventually we caved, as most travelers do, and posted sporadically on Facebook. On the final leg of our journey, with photos accumulating, I plunged into the world of Instagram. This only seemed to ignite more questions. Now that we are home, I created this blog to share our adventures. The journal entries, photos, souvenirs, memories, and experiences will all come together in regular blog updates. I hope these posts will encourage you to explore the world, so in turn you can share your discoveries with us.
The question in our minds still resides, should we have been blogging and sharing photos from the beginning? What do you think? If you were on a trek around the world, would blogging enhance or detract from your adventure?
